1962-1996 (FOUR CYLINDER CARS)

MUST HAVE WEIGHT IN UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF WINDSHIELD

WEIGHT MUST INCLUDE OVERBORE

DRIVERS THAT HAVE COMPETED IN ANY DIVISION OTHER THAN ENDURO, C MINI STOCK, OR WOMEN'S ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE IN B MINI STOCK.

1. BODY: NO CONVERTIBLES, PICKUP TRUCKS, T-TOPS OR FRONT WHEEL DRIVE
CARS ALLOWED.
(A) NO CUTTING OR HULLING ALLOWED. MUST BE STOCK.
(B) ALL BODIES MUST BE CLOSED IN FRONT AND REAR WITH SHEET METAL. FRONT AND REAR FIREWALLS MUST BE SEALED COMPLETELY, NO HOLES. NO EXTRA SHEET METAL CAN BE ADDED TO INSIDE OF CAR.
(C) ALL FENDER PANELS MUST BE INTACT. FRONT FENDER PANELS MUST EXTEND TO RADIATOR CRADLE. NO CUTTING ALLOWED.
(D) ALL DOORS MUST BE WELDED OR BOLTED SHUT.
(E) BRAKE AND CLUTCH PEDAL MUST BE STOCK.
(F) FENDERS AND QUARTER PANELS CANNOT BE CUT FOR TIRE CLEARANCE.
(G) DOORS MAY BE HULLED FOR DOOR BARS ONLY.
(H) ALL GLASS, HEADLINER, DOOR PANELS, SEATS, PLASTIC, ETC. MUST BE REMOVED. NO FLAMMABLE MATERIALS ALLOWED.
(I) FULL WINDSHIELD REQUIRED, NO GLASS ALLOWED 1/16" LEXAN OR THICKER.
(J) BACK GLASS AND QUARTER WINDOWS OPTIONAL. NO GLASS ALLOWED. 1/16" LEXAN OR THICKER.
(K) NO SIDE DOOR GLASS ALLOWED. NO VENT WINDOW ALLOWED.
(L) BATTERY MUST BE MOUNTED BEHIND DRIVER, ENCLOSED AND STRAPPED SECURELY.
(M) HOOD PINS ALLOWED.
(N) NO AFTERMARKET BODY PARTS OR ALUMINUM.
(O) RUBBER NOSE PIECES WILL BE ALLOWED. ABSOLUTELY NO AFTERMARKET TAIL SECTIONS ALLOWED!

2. ROLL CAGE:
(A) FOUR POINT ROLL CAGE MANDATORY, 1 1/2" O.D..090TH WALL TUBING MINIMUM. FULL ROLL CAGE RECOMMENDED.

3. WEIGHT:
(A) 1 LB. PER C.C. OF ENGINE AFTER RACE WITH DRIVER.
(B) NO GAS, WATER, OR OIL MAY BE ADDED AFTER RACE.
(C) 55% LEFT SIDE WEIGHT.
(D) MINIMUM WEIGHT 2300 LBS.
(E) NO PARTS ADDED AFTER THE RACE. CAR MUST BE WEIGHED “AS IS” AFTER RACE.

4. SPOILER:
(A) STOCK SPOILERS FRONT AND REAR ALLOWED.
(B) HOMEMADE REAR SPOILERS ALLOWED, FOUR INCHES HIGH, NO WIDER THAN DECK LID.
(C) NO SPOILER BRACES ALLOWED.

5. SEAT:
(A) ALUMINUM RACING SEAT.
(B) RACING SEAT RECOMMENDED.
(C) SEAT MUST BE MOUNTED TO ROLL CAGE.

6. SPRINGS:
(A) A MINIMUM DIAMETER OF 4 INCH SPRINGS. SPRINGS MUST BE IN STOCK LOCATION.
(B) SPRINGS MAY BE CUT TO LOWER CAR.
(C) LOWERING BLOCKS ALLOWED ON REAR WITH LEAF SPRINGS.
(D) ALL CARS MUST MAINTAIN A MINIMUM HEIGHT OF 4 INCHES WITH DRIVER.
(E) NO JACKING BOLTS ALLOWED.
(F) ADJUSTABLE SPRING BUCKETS ALLOWED.
(G) ADJUSTABLE CASTER AND CAMBER PLATES ALLOWED.

7. SHOCKS:
(A) SHOCKS MUST BE STOCK. RACING SHOCKS OK - MUST BE IN STOCK LOCATION.
(B) NO ADJUSTABLE STRUTS ALLOWED.
(C) NO ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS ALLOWED.

8. BRAKES:
(A) DRUM OR DISC BRAKES ALLOWED ON FRONT.
(B) DRUM BRAKES ONLY ALLOWED ON REAR. NO DISC BRAKES ALLOWED.

9. SWAY BAR:
(A) SWAY BAR MUST BE STOCK AND BOLTED IN STOCK LOCATION.
(B) MAY HAVE ADJUSTABLE ENDS.

10. WHEEL BASE:
(A) WHEELBASE MUST BE STOCK.
(B) MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE TOLERANCE, 1 INCH RIGHT TO LEFT.

11. TIRES:
(A). HOOSIER SPORTSMAN - TO BE PURCHASED AT TRACK.
(B). ONE NEW TIRE ALLOWED PER RACE; SOAKING PERMITTED.

12. WHEELS:
(A) STEEL WHEELS ONLY ALLOWED.
(B) ALL 4 WHEELS MUST BE SAME SIZE. 13 OR 14 INCH WHEELS ALLOWED MAXIMUM WIDTH 7 INCHES. OFFSET MUST BE THE SAME ON ALL 4 WHEELS.
(C) NO BLEEDER VALVES ALLOWED.


13. ENGINE: 2400 C.C. MAXIMUM. EXCEPT G.M. MAY USE 2500 C.C. WITH OVERBORE.
(A) MUST BE STOCK FOR MAKE OF CAR.
(B) MAXIMUM BORE .060 +.005 FOR WEAR.
(C) PISTONS MUST BE FLAT TOP UNLESS ENGINE CAME FROM FACTORY WITH DOME PISTONS. FLAT TOP PISTONS CANNOT EXCEED TOP OF BLOCKS.
(D) CRANKSHAFT MUST BE STOCK.
(E) RODS MUST BE STOCK. CARELLI RODS – SAME WEIGHT AS STOCK.
(I) CAMSHAFT MUST BE STOCK OR STOCK REPLACEMENT. MAXIMUM LIFT AT VALVE .430. CHEVY ONLY LIFT .445. NO ROLLER CAMSHAFTS ALLOWED. CAMS WILL BE CHECKED AS RUN – NO ALLOWANCE.
(G) VALVES MUST BE STOCK.
(H) NO RACING VALVE JOB ALLOWED.
(1) 2 ANGLES ALLOWED ON VALVE. BACK ANGLE CANNOT BE WIDER THAN SEAT ANGLE.
(2) 3 ANGLES ALLOWED ON HEAD SEAT. INSIDE ANGLE CANNOT BE MORE THAN 65 DEGREES. NO BOWL CUTTING.
(I) SOLID LIFTERS ALLOWED ON ALL ENGINES.
(J) ANY VALVE SPRINGS AND RETAINERS MUST BE STEEL. NO TITANIUM OR ALUMINUM.
(K) STOCK INTAKE MANIFOLD. NO SPACER OTHER THAN STOCK BETWEEN INTAKE AND CARBURETOR. MAXIMUM OF 1 INCH SPACER RULE. NO GRINDING, CUTTING, OR WELDING OF ANY TYPE ALLOWED.
(L) HEADER OK.
(M) ONLY 1 INTAKE AND 1 EXHAUST VALVE PER CYLINDER ALLOWED.
(N) NO TURBO OR AIR BOOSTER ALLOWED.
(0) NO ANTIFREEZE ALLOWED.
(P) NO LIGHTENING OR MODIFICATION OF ANY ENGINE PARTS WILL BE ALLOWED. BALANCING IS OK.
(Q). OIL PAN – NO SCRAPERS OR BAFFLES. NO WINLESS TRAY.

14. CARBURETOR:
(A) ONE STOCK TWO BARREL CARBURETOR FOR MAKE. NO MODIFICATION ALLOWED.
(B) BREATHERS MUST BE RUN AT ALL TIMES. ALL AIR MUST BE FILTERED THROUGH PAPER TYPE ELEMENT. AIR BREATHER AND FILTER ELEMENT MUST BE THE SAME SIZE.
(C) NO AIR DUCTS OF ANY TYPE ALLOWED UNDER HOOD.


15. DISTRIBUTOR:
(A) STOCK DISTRIBUTOR FOR MAKE. ELECTRONIC OR POINT TYPE ALLOWED. NO RACING DISTRIBUTORS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED.
(B) ONLY 1 STOCK COIL ALLOWED. NO RACING COIL ALLOWED.
(C) ONLY 1 SPARK PLUG PER CYLINDER ALLOWED.

16. FLYWHEEL:
(A) STOCK FLYWHEEL FOR MAKE. NO MODIFICATIONS
(B) ONLY STOCK TYPE CLUTCH DISC AND PRESSURE PLATE ALLOWED.
(C) MINIMUM WEIGHT 16 LBS. FOR FLYWHEEL ONLY.
(D). TOTAL WEIGHT OF FLYWHEEL, PRESSURE PLATE & CLUTCH DISC IS 28 LBS.



17. TRANSMISSION:
(A) 4 OR 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION PERMITTED. GM ONLY - 3 SPEED TRANSMISSION IS OKAY. ALL GEARS MUST BE IN WORKING ORDER FROM DRIVERS SEAT.
(B) STOCK AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS PERMITTED WITH NO MODIFICATIONS.


18. REAR END:
(A) STOCK FOR MAKE, TREAD WIDTH MUST MATCH FRONT. 1 INCH TOLERANCE.
(B) NO LOCKED REAR ENDS ALLOWED.
(C) NO POSI-TRACTION REAR ENDS ALLOWED.


19. FUEL:
(A) MUST BUY FUEL FROM ANDERSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY.
(B) COLOR OF FUEL MUST MATCH FUEL FROM TRACK PUMP.
(C) NO MIXTURES.
(D) MUST PASS FUEL CHECK.
(E) FUEL CELL REQUIRED.
(F) NO ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS ALLOWED UNLESS CAR CAME FROM FACTORY WITH ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP AND CANNOT RUN A MECHANICAL PUMP.


20. SAFETY:
(A) ALL CARS MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3" SAFETY BELT AND 2" SHOULDER HARNESS. SAFETY BELTS CANNOT BE OVER 5 YEARS OLD.
(B) WINDOW NET MANDATORY.
(C) DRIVING SUIT MADE OF SOME TYPE OF NOMEX MATERIAL MANDATORY. DRIVING SUIT MUST BE WORN WHEN ON THE RACE TRACK.
(D) SAFETY HELMET MANDATORY.
(E) FIRE EXTINGUISHERS IN CAR MANDATORY.


21. FEATURE WINNER:
(A) FEATURE WINNER WILL START HIS OR HER NEXT HEAT RACE IN REAR OF HEAT RACE THAT HE OR SHE DRAWS FOR.
(B) AFTER ANY THREE FEATURE WINS, WINNER MAY BE REQUIRED BY TRACK OFFICIALS TO TEAR DOWN FOR INSPECTION.

NOTICE

ALL EQUIPMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE TRACK OFFICIALS. NO EQUIPMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED AS HAVING BEEN APPROVED BY REASON OF HAVING PASSED THROUGH INSPECTION UNOBSERVED. TRACK OFFICIALS MAY ASSESS WEIGHT PENALTIES FOR CARS AND/OR PARTS DEEMED AS NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH RULES OF ANDERSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY.

2. SECOND TIME REFUSAL TO TEAR DOWN FOR TRACK INSPECTION OR PROTEST--
ONE RACE SUSPENSION FOR CAR AND DRIVER.

3. THIRD TIME REFUSAL TO TEAR DOWN FOR TRACK INSPECTION OR PROTEST-- SUSPENSION UNTIL CAR IS PULLED DOWN FOR INSPECTION.
